I'm so excited to share Publisher Weekly's announcement on December 5, 2024 for my upcoming picture book WORM IS DEAD, LONG LIVE WORM written by wonderful Abigail Rayner! Thank you Lofty Pigeon for a super sweet Storytime! My audience was all babies, and it was SO distracting (in a good way) to see all their sweet little faces fixated on me while I read. Thank you Vroman’s for a delightful storytime! I had some dear old friends come join me at this wonderful bookstore along with a wonderful group of kids and their grownups. People asked really great questions and I had such a nice time sharing my process and drawing for the kids. I had such a nice time. I had such a sweet time at {Pages} a bookstore in Manhattan Beach on Saturday! A shout-out to Jeff & Leah, who were so friendly and helpful. The store was also welcoming with a sweet children’s section that was overflowing with awesome books. They have a wonderful outdoor space too, and it was perfect weather to sit outside for Story Time, with the ocean just a stones throw away. On top of all this, the kids were adorable.
